Gothic Shadow Reading: A psychological / spiritual reading that looks at the darker, unacknowledged aspects of your self and your behavior.
This "star" spread of 7 cards reveals what's hurting you and helping you, your hopes and hidden fears, and some guidance and feedback about the current situation.
For this reading I will use the BOHEMIAN GOTHIC TAROT deck, which is particularly well suited for SHADOW readings.
A shadow reading helps you explore the darker, hidden aspects of yourself, or the hidden, darker aspects of a situation. This type of reading is best suited for inner work, self-knowledge, spiritual growth and guidance, in my opinion. It's also appropriate for questioners who are intrigued by and comfortable with darker energies and Gothic aesthetics. Dark doesn't mean evil! Just dark, hidden, off-kilter, unconventional. Our Shadow is what we hide from ourselves, usually unconsciously or semi-consciously. Ignore your Shadow and it may cause trouble; embrace your Shadow and you may find your treasure.
